We have been captivated by the pastel-hued world of Regency-era London, the dramatic plotlines, lush decor, extravagant costume designs, and of course, the steamy romances.
MOOD BOARD
One tradition that keeps recurring throughout the whole series is afternoon tea in the signature pale blue and grey drawing-room of the show's namesake family, the Bridgertons.
Therefore, in preparation for the launch of our Afternoon Tea Box, we at Isabelle and Mimi decided to simulate an afternoon tea that even Lady Whistledown wouldn't find fault with. (Fingers crossed)
Lady Whistledown has it on very good authority that several members of the ton were seen arriving at the top-secret headquarters of Isabelle and Mimi.
Madam Delacroix, the modiste is rumoured to have designed the dresses worn at the photoshoot. The modiste hinted that she based the pretty pale blue dresses worn by our models, on the gowns worn by the Duchess of Hastings. She is known to favour the very same shade of Azure on the show. After all, she does lead the ton in matters of fashion.
Queen Charlotte herself, might have been a consultant for our photoshoot where we may or may not have served her the contents of our Afternoon Tea Boxes as a humble thank you. She may or may not have favoured the Smoked Salmon Sandwiches and Honey Rosewater Pistachio Cake with White Chocolate Ganache.
